I stayed up way too late writing this post...

The previously promised proper outfit photos of my stellar outfit from Saturday night.

I definitely prefer the wavy way I did my hair Saturday with this look. My hair did not want to cooperate this morning though, and I definitely didn't have time to apply the waving iron, so I added a hat to the mix to cover up the wild winter staticyness that threatened to mess with my leopard mojo. I typically only shampoo my hair every other or every third day and deep condition every day during the winter to avoid such fiascos (my hair can get pretty dry), but yesterday I applied some Moroccan Argan Oil by Q to my hair, so I thought I'd be okay to skip the extra heavy duty conditioning treatment today. Sadly, I was very mistaken and paid for it by having to wear my locks in a bun most of the day at work. I really want to grow it out, but I'll be damned if there aren't days that I don't miss my short Alice-type hair (I had the haircut first though - she copied me!)

Looking at these photos, I am again reminded of how crappy our yard looks. At least when it warms up, I will be able to talk my sibs into field trips to find somewhere more attractive for these photo shoots. Right now, I essentially have to sell them bits and pieces of my soul to get someone to walk outside with me for three minutes.

So I'm trying to decide if I want to buy these vegan black leather pants from Threadsence:

Black on Black Vegan Leather Pants by Blank NYC, $88 via Threadsence

I've been agonizing over it for days. On the one, logical hand, they cost almost what I make in a day (Utah might have a decent job market, but we have awful wages); but, on the other, impulsive hand - they're (vegan) leather pants, and I've been dying for a pair of those for a minute. They're on my wish list, and I promised myself that if I found some I liked and were vegan/faux, I would get them. I hesitate now because I'm not sure how comfortable they will be... I hate when clothes stick to me, and I imagine leather, even faux/vegan, does that pretty badly. I definitely wouldn't be able to wear them during the summer, although if this year is anything like last it won't be too hot for them for another six months.

I want them. Crazy bad. I just wish I could try them on! This is definitely the one downside to shopping online. And Threadsence, unlike a lot of the sites I frequent, does not offer free returns - they accept returns, but I would have to pay for the return shipping; although they don't charge on exchanges.

Anyone out there have any thoughts on the matter? I would really appreciate your input, especially if you've ever worn leather pants!
